Getaway With The Grey - A Culinary Weekend In Negril, Jamaica

Friday, April 1st & Saturday, April 2nd, we’re teaming up with our friends Mashama Bailey and Johno Morisano, partners at The Grey in Savannah, Georgia, and Chef Andre Fowles for a weekend of fun in the sun at Rockhouse Hotel and Skylark Negril Beach Resort in Jamaica. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Rockhouse Foundation, our charitable arm dedicated to transforming the places where Jamaica’s children learn and supporting the great people who teach them.

The $300 per person weekend culinary package includes:


• 
Dinner at Skylark Negril Beach Resort on the beach on Saturday evening prepared by Mashama Bailey of The Grey with partner Johno Morisano

• Dinner at Rockhouse Hotel on Friday evening with a Caribbean Feast from Chef Andre Fowles, Chef Kahari Woolcock and Chef Jermaine Forrester

• 
Each catered evening event includes beverages consisting of specialty cocktails from Ten To One rum, wine, beer, bottled water, soft drinks

One signed copy of Mashama and Johno’s culinary memoir, Black, White & The Grey


• Access to the book signing and Q&A with Mashama and Johno on Saturday morning at 11am at Skylark Negril Beach Resort


• Access to the school tour of Sav Inclusive on Friday April 1 at 10 am - this inclusive model school where typical learning children and those with disabilities

Alternatively you may purchase a $200 ticket for the Saturday night dinner only or a $100 ticket to the Friday night dinner only.

Mashama Bailey is the 2019 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef Southeast of America and the recently-announced 2022 nominee for the Outstanding Chef James Beard Award. Mashama will be supported by Johno Morisano, her partner in their award-winning restaurant The Grey in Savannah, Georgia. Jamaica’s own Chef Fowles is a three-time Food Network ‘Chopped’ Champion, he was a finalist on ‘Chopped’ Grand Championship tournament and has appeared as a contestant on ‘Beat Bobby Flay’.
